Getting My Groove Back

Remember when I was out on the road on that contract that had me taking up residence at a different Knights Inn in a different minuscule town every week for 6 months? Oh, come on. You remember! How could you forget the day that I discovered fried pickles and that one should never order a Calzone North of Wall Street?

Regardless, the product used by our illustrious traveling team of gypsies to collaborate has since been glommed up by the Evil Empire and it turns out that they're now beta testing a certification for said product. Found out the day before about the free beta exam and leapt at the chance to be a guinea pig in the race for the longest trail of letters following your name. Or maybe it was just residual fried pickle juice causing all that leaping. Either way, I sat through the online training (which was really more of a sales pitch) and managed to find both the testing site and a decent parking spot with minutes to spare. It was then that I faced my first real challenge:

Oh no! What ever will I do!? How can I possibly enter the building to take my highly technical exam with this impenetrable obstacle in my path? Is there no way to get beyond this dastardly mechanism? Darn you, Microsoft! It seems you've managed to curtail my advancement once again, curses! I might as well just turn right around and go to Atlantic City instead...

Whew! Thank goodness for that sign!

I remember the calzone incident, surely you could have used some instruction there. It's Microsoft, after all - I'm surprised they had helpful documentation.

I need this sign...for personal reasons...

I can only assume its for that handle under the knob, a blind person feeling the handle might not know there's a knob to turn, so they put a sign there just for them! See, it makes totally perfect sense!

After you pulled, was there a licensing agreement to click "Yes" to?

I tried to think of something witty to write but everyone else stole my ideas. Especially that one about the blind person. I already thought of that but someone else beat me to it. Anyhoo...thanks for visiting me, fellow bee person. Wish I had thought of beelog. I want mine to be a beelog, too.
