So get this-- not only did Sears actually show up with the fridge, they also brought me a dishwasher, an oven, a microwave hood, all the proper cords, and somehow even managed to get the suckers both upstairs and inside (this required the removal of no fewer than 5 of the condo's precious and petite exterior doors. Seriously! FIVE!) without serious injury to man or steel.
Not only do I now know how to say "door" in both Spanish and Farsi, in another (and stranger yet!) turn of events, the contractor who has told me on each of the last 27 consecutive days that he will "definitely start tomorrow" actually did begin to work on the condo kitchen today.

Finally we get to see B using his god given workout/trainer talent put to good work...

Felt good Dagince, and I didn't even break my hand!
Now for the name of this post, K.....explain?

Ok...
Did the Chinese front Door lady ask how much for appliances??
Was the wall down before B tried to punch though it?
Ooh, I have renovation envy. Congrats!
Is that your front door to the left? I have the same layout in my house as far as the kitchen and front door go and I have been dying to knock out the top half of that wall. I'm so jealous. I can't wait to see the finished product
I got my hits in =) and didn't even break anything. Like I said, I'll have pics up later (always later)
So how much did you pay for the condo.. I really need to know..
can't wait to see the final product.. :)
They actually had to take off the doors? That's gotta require some prior planning, right?
Wow, that's quite the hole you have there, K.
oh... and i never thought i would see the words "tiny box" appear on your blog.
Wow, what a mess! But I'm sure it's going to look fabulous when it's done. :)
