Safeway is running this deal where if you buy 10 Pepsi products, you get a $25 gift card for free.
I don't know about you but I immediately see this as a challenge. So, I ran (and by "ran" I mean "had B drive") to Safeway and filled one of their new and highly dysfunctional mini-carts with a mountain of fridgemate Diet Pepsi's. Turns out, it's buy one get one free. And when you buy two you get a free case of water. Are you salivating yet?
In the end, here's what we got:
8 x 12 packs of Diet Pepsi (96 cans)
2 x 24 packs of Refreshe Water (48 bottles)
2 x Bags of Tostitos Restaurant Style
1 hernia
Total cost (not taking into account the doctor bills) at the register came to $28.06. Subtract the $25 gift card we received and you're left with a trunk full of sodium infused caffeine for a total of $3.06! Hooray for SD!!
Note: Safeway offer expires today, June 19th, 2007.
You know you wanna.

This is why I love Safeway. I went there once and won a free freaking DVD player for buying some toilet paper.
If I had the time to respond, I'd piss and moan about the 96 Sodas but alas....enjoy the little things in life. =)
Does Pepsi have any healthy-ish products for sale?
Yea. It's called "diet" pfftt
I love good deals! :)
How Jew-y ;-)
