Clearly I Have Forgotten How To Work. Pass The Cupcakes.

The demise of vacation is always inbumminating (um, except for that once when B and I would have happily taken the first rescue copter out of each others' presence, never to return) but today's corresponding onset of my salad days turned the best part of the long-anticipated work-sponsored birthday lunch from apple pie ala mode to the fact that during my hour long absence from my desk there were sure to be more slickdeals posted.

I began restitution for my horrible vacation-fueled eating habits by having an itty bitty salad for lunch along with three gallons of satiating water.

Confession: I consumed a sick amount of cupcakes over my bee-day weekend. Sick, I tell you. Sick. And delicious. Mmmm... deliciousick.

So yeah, I'll be sure to bore you with select vacation photos later (Needtzism: A promise for "more [photos] later") as well as more beloved Adventures of Elbow (now with clicking bass action!) but for now, I have to go and pretend to do more work.

And by "work" I mean decide whether to get The Nephews Three (ages 4, 6, and 8) an uber Superman 14 disk DVD set or individual sets of really cute assorted Disney PJ's --for no reason other than to ensure that they don't forget that their rockin' aunt Bee exists... even though she may have smoked enough in college to ensure that she never, ever is able to recall birthdays in a timely fashion. You know, other than her own. Thoughts on which way to roll with the gifts..?
