Who Gives A Shit '08

To be frank (I mean, why stop now?) few people I know share my political views. And by "few" I mean "no one is anywhere near". Certainly the same is true of any political candidate of whom I've ever been aware. The good news is that I am also one of the least political people you'll ever meet so it really doesn't matter. I'm all "live and let live", "to each his own" (hmmm... I guess therein lies the problem?) and unless you're one of my rampant politically affiliated friends then my lack of politico won't cause you great bouts of melanin loss or fibromyalgia. Funny thing happened, though. Long story short --- it is with equal amounts of befuddlement and cautious pessimism that I announce that my beloved other half stumbled upon a local focus group and well, basically? They're paying this man to be on FOX's Hannity and Colmes tomorrow night, (at 9pm EST, check your local listings):

Why yes, he is wearing a "Rock Climb Naked" t-shirt. Good catch.

That's right, Mr. Leading Nominee for the "Could Give A Shit" Lifetime Achievement Award is going to be paid to voice his "political opinions" on live, national television.

LIVE. NATIONAL. TELEVISION.

So set your TiVo's people and prepare to hear about the need for both health and massage benefits for substitute teachers, why dishes left overnight in the sink demonstrate the downfall of society, the long-term benefits of controlling the wild Serta population, and other assorted accounts of serious bullshittery.

If you would, please, yes. Hooking up our TiVo fell under you-know-who's "fuck this I give up" catergory.

at least it didn't fall under the 'fuck this, you do it' category ;)
